What it is
Astutus Data Manager is a sovereign, high-assurance data platform we built for Astutus Research, a firm producing European and EMEA automotive market-intelligence products. Their previous data estate was what most research organizations quietly live with: a sprawl of interlinked spreadsheets where one wrong cell could ripple into a published product.
ADM replaces that with a governed platform. Data enters through controlled paths, passes a promotion gate before it becomes trusted, and every change is auditable. The formula engine is built on a rule that anyone who has been burned by spreadsheets will appreciate: NULL is never 0. Missing data stays visibly missing instead of silently becoming a number.
Because the end products are workbooks, reports, and presentations, ADM includes Office Studio: native generation of XLSX, PPTX, and DOCX files, with a Workbook Studio and Report Studio that build deliverables on pinned data snapshots. The numbers in a published report stay exactly the numbers that were approved when it was built.
